No words can even begin to describe the emotion of what we experienced upon winning the CIK – FIA World Karting Championship, taking the Vice Championship crown along with it thanks to an impressive 1, 2 finish! Forza Racing…2017 World Champions!
After some time for the win to sink in Team boss Jamie Croxford managed to find some words and remarked that “It is one the proudest days of my career adding the World and Vice-World title to our European title for the 2017 season – and to top it all off, having it on home soil surrounded by my family and close friends.”
An amazing performance from Dexter Patterson Racing and Chris Lulham Racing from start to finish cemented our fate. Jonny Edgar was extremely unlucky from the outset but still showed us all why he is European Champion dealing superbly with everything thrown at him throughout the meeting, otherwise he would have been at the front with the rest of the team for certain.
Elias Seppänen, Alex Kattoulas, Sebastian Alvarez and Kasparas Vaškelis showed great pace and were also unlucky at times but still had a great showing
