2 weeks after the first round of the FIA Karting European Championship, Forza Racing is ready to fight in the second act of the continental series organized by CIK FIA.
The team has a good tradition at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli and the goal of the week will be to convert the potential showed in the OK Final in Zuera in good results. 6 will be the drivers who will defend Forza’s honor:
OK – #105 Dilano van T’Hoff, #116 Harry Thompson, #134 Rafael Camara.
OKJ – # 227Jonathan Weywadt, #238 Gustaw Wisniewski, #240 Maxime Furon-Castelain.
The expectation is high both in OK and OKJ. The Seniors Dilano and Rafael already showed their potential with 2 big comebacks in Zuera, while Harry wants to start his adventure with us in the best way possible. The Juniors Maxime and Jonathan will arrive in Sarno after the amazing weekend of Adria in the Academy Trophy in which both Forza boys finished on podium.
Jamie Croxford, Team Manager: “In the time we’ve had between the last race and Sarno, we have managed to undertake a few good days of testing to help us prepare as best as possible for the challenge in front. All the drivers gave positive feedbacks, and this make us happy and confident for this race. I don’t want to say where we will be at the end of the weekend, but for sure I can say that we are ready”.
The 2nd round of the FIA Karting European Championship will start on Friday 21 with the Qualifying Practices, leaving the room to the Heats on Saturday 22. On Sunday 23 morning the drivers will complete the Heats and the best 34 drivers will gain the access to the Finals, planned in the afternoon.
